Data Backups

Our primary vaults are housed in a windowless Tier 1 data center in Germany. Positioned in the core of the building, the data center has foot-thick steel-reinforced cement walls. Power to our remote data backup electronic vaults is via a direct feed from the regional energy supplier by means of the municipal “hospital grid” and is routed through redundant transformers into a “conditioned” massive battery array to ensure a seamless switch from primary to auxiliary power in the event of an interruption. A diesel generator supplies auxiliary power to our remote backup equipment which will run for at least with ten (10) days before refueling is necessary.
